Mahmoud was born in 1980 en is from Idlib in Syria. Mahmoud is married and has five children who are still in Syria. He has been living in The Netherlands since three years and lives in Amsterdam. In Syria he was working as as a mosaic painter.
In the Netherlands he spent a lot of time learning how to play the ‘Oud’. The ‘oud’ is a typical Arabic stringed instrument.
